ANGIE’S SUBS AND SUNRISE SURF SHOP WORK TO RAISE MONEY FOR
SPECIAL OLYMPICS OF DUVAL COUNTY

Jacksonville, FL (November 13, 2007) - The Special Olympics of Duval County would like to give a special thanks to Angie's Subs and all of their staff for raising in excess of $5,000 for Special Olympics. Ed Malin, the owner of Angie's Subs, teamed up with Dan Brooks, the owner at Sunrise Surf Shop, to raise money for Special Olympics through raffling items. Sunrise donated a surfboard, drift board and other items for the event, which was held at Angie's Subs' Beach Boulevard location.

The Special Olympics of Duval County is a not-for-profit organization that was established in 1969. It is part of the world’s largest program of athletic training and competition for children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Experienced coaches and volunteers help train individuals with disabilities to compete in local, state, national, and international athletic competitions.
